On March 27 and April 11–12, 2026, the Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development Summit (2026) was grandly held in Beijing. Mr. Cao Jinfang, Chairman of Cjnoo Sustainable Energy, was invited to the closed-door seminar at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Mr. Qiu Shijun, Vice Chairman & CTO of Cjnoo Sustainable Energy, delivered a keynote speech at the Commercial Vehicle Sustainable Development Forum. At this high-profile industry event gathering top players in automotive, energy, transportation, AI and other sectors, Cjnoo Sustainable Energy systematically discussed the challenges and pathways for commercial vehicle electrification, from top-level dialogues to technical solutions.

A Premier Industry Summit Charting New Directions

2026 marks the start of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and a pivotal year for the country’s new energy vehicle industry as it advances toward intelligence, green development, integration and internationalization. Hosted by the China Automotive Innovation Alliance Research Institute, the Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development Summit is a top-tier event for analyzing industry trends.
The summit featured 10 sessions: a high-level forum, an international forum, and eight themed forums. Attendees included automakers such as Geely, NIO, Sany, Seres, Xiaomi Auto and SAIC Volkswagen; industrial chain leaders like CATL and Baidu Maps; as well as academicians, scholars and experts from Tsinghua University, the Development Research Center of the State Council, the State Information Center, and the China Automobile Dealers Association. Representatives from automotive, energy, transportation, urban planning, communications, artificial intelligence and other fields exchanged insights, providing critical strategic guidance for building a healthy industrial ecosystem, global cooperation framework and stable policy environment.

Chairman Cao Jinfang Attends Diaoyutai Closed-Door Meeting

On March 27, the closed-door High-Level Seminar on China’s Automotive Industry Development and Policies was held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Off-limits to the public and media, the meeting gathered core industry decision-makers and policy researchers. Mr. Cao Jinfang, Chairman of Cjnoo Sustainable Energy, was invited to participate.
Distinguished attendees included Mr. Shi Jianhua, Vice Chairman of the China Automotive Innovation Alliance, and other senior experts. The seminar covered nine key topics, including macroeconomics and the automotive industry, charging infrastructure planning, cutting-edge new energy technologies, and new industrial development models. Focusing on critical industry issues, Chairman Cao shared Cjnoo Sustainable Energy’s frontline experience, market observations and insights in commercial vehicle energy supply.
As a key player in charging infrastructure, Cjnoo Sustainable Energy is evolving from a policy follower to a policy contributor, making its voice heard in top-level dialogues shaping China’s automotive industry policies and ecosystem.

Vice Chairman & CTO Delivers Keynote Speech

On April 12, at the Commercial Vehicle Sustainable Development Forum, Mr. Qiu Shijun, Vice Chairman & CTO of Cjnoo Sustainable Energy,
delivered a keynote speech titled Driving a New Era of Green Freight: Challenges, Pathways and Win-Win Ecosystem for Commercial Vehicle Electrification. He highlighted pressing industry bottlenecks: technical and grid integration challenges posed by megawatt-level charging, infrastructure constraints from land acquisition and power grid expansion, and cost pressures from narrowing fuel-electricity price gaps and low freight rates. Emphasizing that commercial vehicle energy supply is not a scaled-up version of passenger vehicle solutions, he outlined Cjnoo’s strategic responses: continuous innovation in products including the 2.5MW full-spectrum flexible megawatt supercharger and the 960kW solar-storage-charge-discharge liquid-cooled V2G all-in-one unit, and promoting multi-party collaboration in an integrated “vehicle-charger-grid-energy” ecosystem.
Prior to the forum, Mr. Qiu was interviewed by media outlets including China Energy News, Sohu Auto, Commercial Vehicle News, and China National Radio New Energy.

Accelerating Market Growth

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, sales of new energy commercial vehicles in China reached 871,000 units in 2025, up 63.7% year-on-year, with a market penetration rate of 26.9%. Industry forecasts project that by 2030, the penetration rate of new energy heavy-duty trucks will exceed 50%, with annual sales expected to surpass 450,000 units.
While the market booms, energy supply infrastructure has lagged behind. By the end of 2025, China had only about 5,000 charging stations for electric heavy-duty trucks, 80% of which were concentrated in closed scenarios such as ports and industrial parks, leaving intercity trunk routes largely uncovered.
To address this gap, Cjnoo Sustainable Energy continues to invest heavily in high-power charging, solar-storage-charge-discharge microgrids, and smart cloud platforms. As of February 2026, the company’s self-developed cloud platform had connected 19,210 high-power charging guns (≥250kW), ranking it among the Top 5 High-Power Charging Brands globally. The platform also serves over 4,000 fleets, helping operators reduce electricity costs by more than 20% through time-of-use pricing and dynamic tariff management. Transforming energy supply from a cost center to a value driver is the core logic behind Cjnoo’s sustainable green freight solutions.
Commercial vehicle electrification is a long-term journey requiring policy guidance, technological breakthroughs and pragmatic collaboration across the industrial chain. Cjnoo Sustainable Energy stands ready to partner with industry stakeholders to build consensus amid challenges, refine solutions through innovation, and jointly advance green freight into a broader future.
