Recently, Hunan Noon News and Hunan News Broadcast released a nearly three‑minute special report focusing on a heavy‑duty truck charging station located in Songmu Economic Development Zone, Hengyang, Hunan Province. The report showed electric heavy trucks in operation and neatly arranged charging terminals, while truck drivers shared their experience of obvious cost savings. It fully demonstrated the rapid popularization of new energy heavy trucks in the region.
The featured site, Geyou Heavy‑Duty Truck Liquid‑Cooled Supercharging Station, was officially put into operation in January 2026. Equipped with 6 megawatt‑level superchargers and 3 sets of 400kW integrated dual‑gun DC chargers, the station has a total of 30 charging guns. All charging equipment is supplied by Cjnoo Sustainable Energy.

A Benchmark Project for Heavy‑Duty Vehicle Charging in Hunan

Covering an area of around 7,000 square meters, the station can accommodate 50 heavy trucks and support 15 vehicles to charge simultaneously. Each charging terminal delivers an average output of 520kW, with a maximum power of 800kW.
During the interview, truck driver Wang Jianhui mentioned that his vehicle can be fully charged within one hour here, doubling the charging speed compared with traditional chargers. In terms of operating costs, the running cost of electric heavy trucks is about 1 RMB per kilometer, while diesel trucks cost roughly 2 RMB per kilometer.
Drivers also spoke highly of the user-friendly services. They can check real-time charging status via mobile applications, and the site is equipped with catering and rest areas. The station is no longer merely a charging facility, but an integral part of truck drivers’ daily travel and work.

Cjnoo Aligns with Hunan’s “Three Highs, Four New” Development Strategy

The Hengyang charging station marks another important layout of Cjnoo Sustainable Energy in Hunan.
As of March 5, 2026, 17.96% of Cjnoo’s national high-power charging capacity (≥250kW) has been deployed in Hunan, ranking first among all provincial regions in China. In other words, nearly one out of every five high-power chargers manufactured by Cjnoo serves the local market of Hunan.
Rooted in Hunan, Cjnoo actively responds to and supports the province’s “Three Highs, Four New” development strategy, and consolidates the infrastructure foundation for local vehicle electrification.
Hunan’s new energy vehicle market maintains strong growth momentum. A total of 350,776 new energy vehicles were registered across the province in 2025, among which Hengyang registered 22,087 units, ranking the second in Hunan. Booming EV popularity drives the demand for high-quality charging infrastructure, and Cjnoo has always taken the lead in this field.

Scenario-Oriented R&D: Upgrading from Basic Charging to On-Demand Energy Supply

The station sits alongside National Highway 107, mainly serving long-distance intercity fleets and short-distance transportation vehicles. For such scenarios, ultra-fast charging and short waiting time are the core demands. The 30 charging guns can deliver stable and efficient charging services tailored to actual operation needs.
Cjnoo develops products based on diverse application scenarios:
  • For regional less-than-truckload transportation: Build 24/7 uninterrupted charging hubs to adapt to frequent round trips
  • For express delivery fleets: Provide solutions for high-frequency and quick charging
  • For large logistics parks: Support large-scale simultaneous charging for numerous vehicles
Our 1.6MW full-matrix flexible charging stacks adopt power pooling technology. The power modules can dynamically distribute power to any charging gun, greatly improving overall equipment utilization.

Headquarters Settled in Changsha: Integrating Technology R&D and Operational Services

In January 2026, Cjnoo’s headquarters and Global R&D Center were officially inaugurated in Changsha. The company has established in-depth cooperation with Hunan University and Central South University, jointly promoting technological breakthroughs in AI-enabled supercharging and new material application. Hunan has become not only a core market for equipment deployment, but also an important base for Cjnoo’s technological innovation.
Cjnoo’s intelligent cloud platform realizes unified real-time monitoring of all charging stations nationwide. Users can check the number of active charging guns, idle slots, charging prices and supporting services through mini-programs. We are transforming scattered individual stations into an interconnected smart charging network to achieve optimal energy distribution.
Against the backdrop of global carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, charging infrastructure for heavy-duty trucks has become a key growth track. Hunan is evolving from a major adopter of charging solutions to a participant and leader in setting industrial standards. As a local enterprise, Cjnoo relies on integrated advantages in equipment, platform and technology to continuously empower the electrification of local transportation.
The Geyou charging station is just one of our representative projects. With more truck operators opting for electric vehicles thanks to faster charging speed, lower costs and better experience, the industry shift is driven by market demand rather than policy incentives.
